How sad, it’s my last day today. I will miss the children. It’s so bad that most of the children are absent. I didn’t able to say “goodbye” to others. Anyway I’m deciding to write a letter of thanks for Kausar Khan and at the same time to ask her if I’m allowed to visit the children whenever I’m free (if she will allow me). I asked Kausar a while ago if I can take picture of the children but she didn’t allow me (I don’t know the reason why). Ohhhhh! I will really miss the children so much. After I had my lunch, I went to nursery and say goodbye. When I’m on the gate of the nursery, I feel the sadness that I might not see the children again. Anyway, I will pray that Kausar will allow me to visit the children again. After that, I went to Hammersmith McDonalds to meet Desiree because I’m going with them at Nazareth House. I’m excited that I will see what they’re doing there. First, we went at the dining room, we place our bag there and went straight at the performance hall where the activities are held. We play games like: the ball, (actually, I don’t know the name of the game) snake and ladder.After that game, we take the old people near the elevator (sorry, I don’t know the reason why we take them there, just ask Desiree and Royda). After that, we had a picture taking with Royda and Raquel (one of the carer at Nazareth House) until it was time to go home.
Ohhhh dear, I forgot my I.D. from school, luckily I arrived at college at 9.00 that’s why I’m not late. I forgot my I.D. at Desiree’s house. The reception gave me a one day pass for me not to pay another £ 3.00 to get a new one. First day in the morning at nursery, Fatma asked me to write on a piece of paper everything that Anthony (the child at nursery) will do. After that, it’s time to read a story for the children. I read a story for Christian about the bear that is afraid of the dark and after that I asked him if he is afraid of the dark and he told me a big NO and I told him “you are so brave!” (For him to be happy). After that, they had their lunch and I had mine too. After I had my lunch, I went straight at the nursery and played with Aaliyana and Denait at the home corner. Aaliyana played as a mother and Denait as a maid and I’m the one who cook in the kitchen. I had a lot of fun today.
It’s very windy today. The teachers didn’t allow the children to go in the playground because there might be trees that will fall down because of the strong winds. I played with the two children “I spy with my little eye”, we did enjoy it. In fact, no one wants to loose. After that, I read them the story of the bear and Santa’s sleigh and after that we sang the spider song and the frog song. I really love singing nursery songs with them. After the story telling, we had our lunch and I told my manager that I might not come back because I have an appointment with my dentist at 1.30 so after my break, I will go straight to my dentist. That’s all for today.
Ohhhhh! It’s freezing, I’m very cold. It’s still raining. I wonder if many of the children will attend for today. I came late at nursery today. Everyone was late even the children because of the traffic. I was one and a half hour late. I told the manager that I’m really sorry for being late but she told me its okay because they are late as well. They didn’t ask me the reason for being late, maybe they know…. (They are late because of the traffic as well). There’s no so much thing to do today because most of the children were not around. We just sang a lot and made an Easter eggs using flour, water, oil and a cooking salt. After doing the Easter egg, we read stories, sang songs again until it was time to go home.

It’s monday today. Ohhhhh!, I will see those cheeky children again. Before that, I need to take my breakfast first because I didn’t take my dinner last night. It’s raining today. I don’t think we will have a lot of fun today because the children can’t play at the playground because it’s very wet. We only play musical instrument. While we were playing musical instrument, I was shocked to see Nikki. She came to talk with my manager but she didn’t able to speak to her because my manager is not around. Nikki asked me a lot of things like: if i’m enjoying the job (I told her yes, absolutely yes). She also asked me what sorts of things i’m doing and many more. After that, I had my break at the college and then go back to the nursery, (the usual things i do) I played with the children, read them stories until it was time to go home.

It’s Friday today,ohhh…and I’m going to miss the children. Today, we went to Hammersmith library with the children, we borrowed and return books. The children also played games into the computer for 15 mins. After going at Hammersmith library, we went to Hamersmith Station to go to the Disney toy shop. There, the children really enjoy looking at the toys, infact we all enjoyed. We enjoyed crossing the road, waiting for the green man to light. Being with the children makes me remember my childhood years. Everytime I see the children crying,(looking for their mom) i remember when I was in nursery, I don’t want my dad to leave (to go to work), I want him to watch me everytime. Anyway, it was a lot of fun. I don’t regret working with the children. After that journey, it’s time to go back to the nursery. they all ate their lunch and I went to college to have my break. After my break, i went straight at the nursery and played with the children waiting for the time to go home. That’s all for today Tumblr.

This is my 3rd day. I’m very afraid because the train was delayed. I might be late but luckily I’m not. First day in the morning at the nursery, we cooked cous-cous with the children. It was the nicest cous-cous I have ever taste because the first one that I taste was not good. After the cooking, I played sandcastle with the children and after that we read a story about the farm animals and sang a lot of nursery songs. After that, it was time for my lunch, the same routine…I go to college to meet my friends and eat my lunch together with my friends. After that, I’m going back to nursery and I played with the children until it was time to go home.
Ohh Gosh, I woke-up late. I was in a hurry to go to work but thank God I wasn’t late even though the train was late. Anyway, this is my second day at work. Fatma, one of the staff in the nursery ask me to take some pictures of the children while we were cooking a Tahina salad. It was quite nice but I’m not used with the taste. Some of the children don’t like it but I don’t know the reason why. The second thing that they asked me to do is to read a story to this little guy because he wants to go to sleep, so I read him the story and the other children came and listen to my story. While I was reading the story with them, I felt the happiness in my heart. I felt that I was lucky that they’re listening and obeying me and I also felt the stupidity inside me when I’m not listening to my teachers sometimes. I learn that listening to the teachers is important. It will not only make you’re teachers happy/pleased, it can also help you with your learning’s. After I read them the story, they ate their lunch and I went to college to meet my friends and have a lunch with them. After I took my lunch, I went straight to the nursery and I joined the children watering the plants at the garden. After that, they played hoola-hoops and gosh they asked me to do it as well, so I let them, anyway, I’m quite keen in playing hoola-hoops. After that, they had their snack and it’s time for me to go home.

This is my first day of my work experience. I am quite nervous and scared. Before I go to my work, I went at Hammersmith station to wait for my friend, Desiree. We ate our breakfast at Mc donalds together and after that we went on our work place together because she’s working just near my work experience placement. I work at Alan Green Nursery School while she‘s working at Nazareth House. Anyway, I want to tell you everything that happened on my first day of work. First, I went there and meat Kausar Khan, the manager, to teach me everything I need to do during my stay. She taught me how to teach the children in a right way. She also showed me all the facilities in the place and the most important thing that she told me is the confidentiality of the children. She told me to keep every confidential things about the children. Anyway, for me, it was a great day. I enjoyed and learned a lot of things. I met lots of nice and friendly children. Actually, at first, I was very scared to speak with the children and after that I gained a confidence after a child came to me. She spoke with me. She asked a lot of thing about my life. She was very curious that at my young age I am working at their nursery school and I answered her question. I told her that I’m having my work experience. She also told me that she also has a big sister like me. I also played with the children. We played clay and they were amazed with the things I’ve done with the clay. We also read some stories. I feel a lil bit nervous, very scared and I think this feelings will not last because after going on the interview I feel a bit better because of the persons I met there. They are very nice,friendly and approachable.
